LEARNING TIP

1. Use Possessive pronouns without any additional words after them.

"This book is mine; it is not yours."

2. Use possessive adjectives in front of a noun to show who the thing belongs to.

 "My taylor is rich."

NB : In English, possessive adjectives and pronouns refer to the possessor, not the object or person that is possessed.
