Q2. What is it supposed to stop?

A2. It is supposed to stop "unsollicited mail".

On the internet, unsolicited mail is called "spam".

Q3. What must you do to stop unsolicited mail?

A3.  To stop unsollicited mail you must "turn off" the computer.

Q6. Describe the picture in English.

What we have is a drawing in which there is a man holding an electric  cable. We understand from the text that the cable is that of a computer. Presumably, the man has just turned off his computer for some reason by unplugging it.

ANSWERS FOR DRAWING 2

   Q1.  What is new?

A1. What is new is an internet version.

   ... yet another one!

Q2. What number is the new  internet version?

A2. The new internet version is version 6. It is the sixth version.

Software items  never ceaze to be upgraded and updated.

Q3. Where can you plug it?

A3. You can plug it directly into your navel.

You can always try but I doubt you get anything this way!

Q4. Describe the picture in English.

What we have is the drawing of a man trying to plug a computer electric cable into his navel. This, of course is a very silly thing to do, and this accounts for the comic of the drawing.

GRAMMAR REVIEW

Use the preposition "in" to express a position, and use "into" to express a movement

Utilisez "in" (dans) pour exprimer le lieu ou la position:

EX:The computer is IN the room.

Utilisez "into" (dans) lorsqu'il y a mouvement ou déplacement vers l'intérieur:

EX: It plugs directly INTO your navel.

Q2. What does the character think about the internet?

A2 The character thinks that the internet is depressing.

Q3. Why is internet depressing?

A3 Internet is depressing because it breaks too often. It can makes you feel depressed  when "it is broken yet again".

Q4. Describe the picture in English.

What we have is the drawing of a man  standing next to a table. There's a computer on the table and the man is pointing at it with his hand, feeling sorry because his computer is broken again.

GRAMMAR REVIEW :

" ... when it is broken yet again""lorsqu'il est de nouveau recassé"

Use "AGAIN" to say that something or an action happens, happened or is happening once more.

Use "YET" in front of "again" to reinforce the idea of repetition.
