WHAT ARE SMILEYS?  

A smiley or emoticon is a sort of logo, or drawing,usually obtained by means of a computer keyboard. Most smileys represent facial expressions because they  are meant to show the feelings of the person using them. As body language can be used in real conversation, so smileys can be used in computer communication and e-mail.

ADDING SMILEYS TO YOUR MESSAGES

Most communication on the internet is done with text, unless you have a web camera you can't see the other person's body language or facial expressions. When writing a message, you can add smileys to show how you feel about a topic or a subject. Here are some favourite ones :
