from Lord of the Ring: Fellowship of the Ring
Bilbo says, "I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve."

from The Twilight Zone

There is a new dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space, and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow - between man's grasp and his reach; between science and superstition; between the pit of his fears and the sunlight of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area that might be called the Twilight Zone.

Bill Clinton sings Miss American Pie
  A long, long time ago
I can still remember how that music used tomake me smile
And I knew that if I had my chance
I could make those people dance
And maybe they'd be happy for a while

Did you write the book of love
And do you have faith in God above
If the Bible tells you so
Now do you believe in Rock 'n' roll
And can music save your mortal soul
And can you teach me how to dance real slow

Well, I know that you're in love with him
'Cos I saw you dancin' in the gym
You both kicked off your shoes
Man, I dig those rhythm and blues

I was a lonely teenage broncin' buck
With a pink carnation and a pick-up truck
But I knew that I was out of luck
The day the music died
I started singing

Bye, bye, Miss American Pie
Drove my Chevy to the levee
But the levee was dry
And good old boys were drinkin' whiskey and rye
Singing this'll be the day that I die
This'll be the day that I die

I met a girl who sang the blues
And I asked her for some happy news
But she just smiled and turned away
I went down to the sacred store
Where I'd heard the music years before
But the man there said the music wouldn't play

Well now, in the streets the children screamed
The lovers cried, and the poets dreamed
But not a word was spoken
Tho church bells all were broken
And the three men I admire the most
The Father, Son and the Holy Ghost
They caught the last train for the coast
The day the music died

We started singin'

Bye, bye, Miss American Pie
Drove my Chevy to the levee
But the levee was dry
And good old boys were drinkin' whiskey and rye
Singing this'll be the day that I die
This'll be the day that I die

Bye, bye, Miss American Pie
Drove my Chevy to the levee
But the levee was dry
And good old boys were drinkin' whiskey and rye
Singing this'll be the day that I die
This'll be the day that I die

We started singin'
We started singin'
We started singin'
We started singin'

Chuckie says, "I'm telling you, Tommy... that Santa's a bad guy. He's always wtching ya, keeping track of everything you do. Then, in the middle of the night, he breaks into your house with a bag of who knows what!"

from an interview on the death of George Harrison
Paul Mc Cartney December 5, 2001 says," I'm devastated, obviously, likeeveryone is. Hmm. He had a llong battle with his cancer, but I saw him three weeks ago and he was full of fun like he always was. He's such a brave lad.To me, he's just my little baby brother? We grew up together and I knew him in my old hometown of Liverpool. And, um, we just had so many beautiful times together that that's what I'm gonna remember him by. A lovely guy, he's full of humour as I say even when I saw him last time and he was, uh, obviously very unwell. He was still cracking jokes like he always was, and he'll be sorely missed. He's a beautiful man, ahd, uh, the world will miss him. So, uh, that's really all I can manage to say at the moment?"

from A Duck Soup

Groucho says," I'm going to dance with you till the cows come home. On second thought, I'd rather  dance with the cows till you come home.
