5.Budapest                                  For nearly a thousand years Buda and Pest were two  towns.In 1873 they joined and became one city, Budapest. Until 1939 Budapest was one of the most important cultural capital of Europe. After World War II, the city was in ruins and the communists took control. 6. Hyde Park (London)  

The name of this famous park 139-hectare (344-acre) is derived from the manor of Hyde, which once belonged to the abbott of Westminster. 

Speakers' Corner is the meeting place of soapbox orators.

Other prominent features of the park are Rotton Row, the famous bridle path, and  Serpentine Lake.  

Under Henry VIII, king of England, Hyde Park was a royal deer park. 

In the 18th and 19th centuries it was a fashionable park where royalty rode and drove, military reviews were held, and duels were fought. 

The first world's fair was held in the park in 1851 .
