1.Windsor Castle
Windsor Castle is a place where the Queen often goes for a couple of weeks. This castle is situated just outside london, in Berkshire, south England on the river Thames. It has been rejuvenated after a fire damaged it badly in 1996. The castle has been a royal residence since the age of William I.

7. King James I of England and VI of Scotland In
1605, Guy Fawkes and a gang of Roman Catholic conspirators wanted to blow
up the House of Lords and assassinate King James VI of Scotland and I of
England. As part of their plan, they stored gunpowder kegs in the cellars
of the House of Lords. These were going to be ignited when the King and
the rest of the political elite were assembled in the chamber above them.
