The term often used to mean the British government is Downing Street.
The official residence of the British prime minister is located at Nb 10 on this street, in the West End of London, and Cabinet meetings are often held there.
The chancellor of the Exchequer and the Foreign Office also have their residence on Downing street.
The street was so named in honor of Sir George Downing, secretary of the treasury in 1667.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI),is an agency of the United States Department of Justice, and is the principal federal investigative agency.
Its general responsibility is to investigate violations of federal law,
including the investigation of espionage, sabotage, subversive activities, and other actions related to national security; organized crime and drug
trafficking, terrorism, and white-collar crime.
Originated in 1908 as The Bureau, the FBI acquired its present name in 1935.
Although it has its national headquarters in Washington, D.C., the FBI maintains
many field offices in most strategic cities in the United States.

The Central Intelligence Agency was created in 1947 with the signing of the National Security Act by President Truman. The National Security Act charged the Director of Central Intelligence (DCI) with coordinating the nation’s intelligence activities and correlating, evaluating and disseminating intelligence which affects national security.
