To expound is to explain and make clear by giving details. You expound a theory or views.
développer, exposer, expliquer

Mormons travel round the world to expound their views of the bible. Les membres de l'église mormone parcourent le monde pour expliquer leurs vues sur la bible.
Don't expound too much on the subject or you 'll bore everybody. Ne développe pas trop le sujet ou tu vas raser tout le monde.
To enclose something in a letter or a parcel is to put something in the envelope or the parcel you are sending.
